I've been slacking. Actually, things have just been crazy to the point where my 'normal' schedule is pretty much non-existent. I've let some other hobbies take the front-seat here, so lets get an update on things, shall we?

I'll post an update soon about what provoked my start in photography... for now, here are the bare basics:

I now own a Nikon D80 d-SLR camera with the following accessories:

* AF-S DX VR Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5-5.6G IF-ED
* SB-400 speedlight

* dual 33" reflective umbrellas + stands
* mc-dc1 wired shutter release
* ml-l3 wireless shutter release
* trusty tripod
* resourcefulness
* creativity
* passion

I believe this to be my calling, to be a photographer on some level. Currently I'm still learning the vast amount of capabilities a d-SLR has, learning everything there is to know about exposure & composition, and then experimenting with the resources I have. I hope to establish my own recognizable style sometime soon so that I may take a ride with it and one day make an impact on someone in my lifetime.
